Is a credit report ban the same as credit activity alerts?

No, they work differently:

    • Credit report ban: Blocks lenders from accessing your file. Free for all Truyu users who have verified their identity.
    • Credit activity alerts: Monitors and alerts you to changes or suspicious activity. Part of the Truyu Alerts subscription.

If you have an active ban on your credit report, you will not receive any credit activity alerts through Truyu.

If you wish to access your credit report, you can request a copy of your credit report directly with Experian or Equifax.
